What Velvet Verdict is, and what it is not.

1. Nature of this website

Velvet Verdict is an editorial publication that produces written criticism, analysis and commentary concerning adult cinema. We publish text and, where applicable, non-explicit promotional artwork used for the purpose of criticism and review.

2. No hosting or distribution of adult media

This site does not host, store, stream, embed, mirror, link to, or otherwise distribute any sexually explicit photographs, video, audio or other depictions. All references to films and performers appear in written critical commentary only.

3. Age restriction

The site is restricted to persons aged 18 years or older, or the age of majority in their jurisdiction, whichever is greater. By accessing the site you represent and warrant that you satisfy this requirement and that accessing adult-oriented editorial material is lawful where you are located.

4. 18 U.S.C. §2257 — exemption statement

Velvet Verdict is not a producer of any visual depiction of actual or simulated sexually explicit conduct as those terms are defined in 18 U.S.C. §2256 and §2257. No such depiction is created, produced, published or reproduced on this site. Because the site produces no such depictions, no records are required to be created or maintained under 18 U.S.C. §2257(a)–(c), and no records custodian is designated for that purpose.

Where third-party promotional artwork is reproduced for criticism, review or commentary, such use is asserted to be fair use under 17 U.S.C. §107, and responsibility for §2257 records for such artwork rests with the original producer, not with this site.

5. Editorial independence and ethics

Reviews reflect the independent critical judgement of our editorial team. We do not accept payment for favourable coverage. Coverage of performer welfare, consent standards and production ethics forms a legitimate part of our critical remit.

6. No content involving minors

This site absolutely prohibits any content that depicts, references or sexualises minors. Any such material is outside the scope of our coverage. Reports may be sent to compliance@ktzxd-porntv.duckdns.org and will be actioned immediately.

7. Prohibition of non-consensual content

We do not review, promote or link to content depicting non-consensual sexual acts or material produced without the informed consent of all participants. Works are assessed for documented consent and performer-welfare standards before coverage.

8. Jurisdiction and access

We make no representation that this site’s content is appropriate or lawful in every jurisdiction. Users are solely responsible for compliance with local law. If accessing adult-oriented editorial material is unlawful where you are located, you must leave the site immediately.

9. Images and artwork

Where a poster or promotional image has not been supplied under licence, pages use original non-explicit artwork generated for this site. Titles, names and marks remain the property of their respective owners.
